Trail description
The trail is well marked and straightforward. Walk through the forest and up to the ridge and then keep left. It takes about an hour to get up and 30min back down. Once you get to the top, you'll have beautiful views of the two lakes. There are some picnic tables, a viewtower and signage about the history of the place. If you go in spring you can see the cherry blossoms around the peak bloom.
This hike is really nice as a dayhike from Nagoya or Kyoto to get away from the city. Due to its low elevation this hike is recommended for spring and fall to avoid the summer heat.
