The traverse from Shinhotaka through Kumonodaira and along the Yomiuri Shindo is an incredibly 4-6day hike in the Northern Alps.

Shiroumadake 2932m to Hakubayari Onsen is an intermediate two-day traverse on the Hakuba ridgeline.
